rrJKT020 - FRANCOIS DILLINGER - THE INFINITE EP + REMIXES
Exclusively available through Rejekts Bandcamp page 6 weeks ahead of general release

Up next we have the second label release from Nik Feral, this time alongside cohort Alex Nemec, Nik brings us 2 fresh tracks with both feet firmly planted in the Techno side of the musical spectrum.
The EP also features 2 remixes from Label Boss Iain Taylor adding a melodic feel with the "I'm Horney" mix (because of the prominent horn sounds) and a more stripped down groover in the "Not Tonight Dub" (named because of the lack of hornyness).
As a solo artist Nik's tracks have seen light on Stahlplatten, 1605, Dynamic Reflection & Sounds Of Earth with his tracks attracting plays from luminaries like Dubfire, Marcel Dettman, Tobi Neumann, Stephan Bodzin, Tiefschwarz and more. Alex Nemec has also released on legendary labels like Bush, Natrua Viva, Recluse and ICONYC and was one half of Alex & Flip up until 2012 and so brings another level of pedigree to the project.
Release date is set for 9th August but you can BUY NOW exclusively through our BANDCAMP PAGE

RJKT 017 - CURSES (NY) - THE BESSER MAN EP - RELEASE DATE - 10-10-2016
Curses stands for a dark romantic take on House and Techno, combining influences of sexy Italo with nostalgic snares and synths. Recent releases have seen light on labels like NEIN, OFF, Let’s Play House alongside his own Safer At Night imprint and now we welcome him to rEJEKT Music.
What you get are 4 tracks of lo slung, late night analogue House and Techno with fingers and toes in the Indie Dance, Tech House & Minimal pigeon holes. The thing that sets Curses apart is a distinctive "Dark Drum" sound which is prevalent across all of these original tracks and on this EP he also manages to incorporate elements of Drum N Bass, Hip Hop & Synth Pop to give something that is not only completely original but also mature and refined.
As always we prefer to let the music do the talking. . . . Please enjoy irresponsibly x

rJKT013 - Riki Inocente - The Northern Rose Remixes Part 1 - Out Now!

OK so we all know that the number 13 can be lucky for some and unlucky for others! Well it would seem it has very much been the former for us as this has been a stormer and one of our best selling releases to date and with remixes from Iain Taylor, Jem Haynes and Jamie Trench . . .
Once again it's time for us to show off and justify our reasons for using up the worlds resourses on making flawed peices of black plastic that "just sound so fucking good". STACEY PULLEN CHOSES 2 REJEKT TRACKS FOR UPCOMING BALANCE COMPILATION

Both Stacey Pullen and the Balance series have long histories. The former is a veteran producer and DJ who first emerged from the fertile Detroit house and techno scene in the late '80s. He's now one of the city's best-known names, and was part of the "second wave" of Detroit-based talent that also included heavyweights like Carl Craig and Octave One.
Balance, meanwhile, is among dance music's longest-running mix series. It debuted in 2001, and has since hosted mixes from the likes of James Holden, Joris Voorn and Will Saul. Stacey Pullen's upcoming instalment comprises two discs, with tracks from Kevin Saunderson, Osunlade, rEJEKTS and Pullen himself all making the cut. "My approach for my Balance mix was to compile music that I don't get a chance to play when I'm on the road," Pullen explains. "I also wanted to give the listener a breath of fresh air and play some eclectic melodic tunes, because I love a good melody."
Stacey has chosen the Marc Ashken remix of Strung Out In Reno and the original mix of Skinfog. He obviously know's a good tune when he here's one!
Available now across all download sites and on double CD.

RIKI INOCENTE - NORTHERN ROSE EP - AVAILABLE NOW

Riki Inocente has been making some serious moves over the past few years. Originally from the "Northern Stronghold" of Sheffield but now hailing from London, Riki has already released on seminal labels like "I'm A House Gangster" and "Robsoul" as well as a string of high profile remixes for the likes of Todd Terry, DJ Sneak and Cajmere.
As you can imagine we are "pretty friggin stoked" to welcome Riki into the rEJEKT fold. His on point house sound throws up a soundscape of real urban soul underlined with dark brooding elements which makes his productions perfect for rEJEKT Music.
Don't just take our word for it. Go listen for yourself. . . .

rJKT-010 - STRUNG OUT IN RENO EP - OUT NOW

Part 3 in a series of 3:
The last in the prequel series for our “7 Years of rEJEKT” double mix compilation due for release in December 2015
We've held off on the release date for the comp as Stacey Pullen has just licenced 2 of our tracks for his Balance 028 double mix CD.
For the third and final part of the series we've blackmailed 3 of our favorite producers into providing some stella remixes. Rounding things off quite nicely, even if we do say so ourselves!
Remix 1 comes from "friend of the family" Mykel Haze (of Noir Music and Hot Creations fame). His track has struck a chord with some of the world's ellite DJ fraternity including Marcel Dettmann, Stacey Pullen, DJ T, Amine Edge & Dance & Danny Tenaglia.
It's a groover (baby). Starts deep, builds up, ends deep. Job done. Good lad!
Remix 2 lands courtesy of another rEJEKT favorite Marc Ashken. Here we have a trademark production from the purveyour of bleepy leftfield grooves and No Shoes label boss. He fully utilises the string parts from the original with an epic intro which finally drops into a stripped back 808 groove. This track was one of the ones recently picked up by Stacey Pullen for his Balance mix compilation.
And lasty we give you the Dub version of Brett Johnson's remix from rJKT010 which has already caused somewhat of a stir and here you have a noticeably different track with a really "Dubbed Out" heavier bassline and a more club orientated drum groove and additional sonics.

rJKT-010 - STRUNG OUT IN RENO EP - OUT NOW

Part 2 in a series of 3:
The prequel to our “7 Years of rEJEKT” double mix compilation due for release in September 2015
It’s been a heck of a journey . . . And long may it continue . . .
As part of the ongoing adventures of “some blokes who call themselves rEJEKTS” we are happy to offer more gems from the studio. We were originally going to put this EP out under the alias of “Species” and not a rEJEKT release (when you hear it you’ll understand). It’s a more organic and musical vibe to the normal deep throbbing slightly “weird shit” that we have made a career from releasing. We hired the Hungarian Philharmonic Orchestra (surprisingly cheap) to do the strings for a film project we were working on (their voices and laughter can also be heard on our 2011 release for Maintain replay called Username Password). . . . . .
Anyway! The lush rich sounding strings inspired us to try something a little different with a rich and layered sound. We’re not claiming to be the next Kruder And Dorfmeisser or anything but still, we think we gave it a good effort.
Now all this forward thinking poses a new problem. Who cool enough to remix such gems? After minutes of deliberation we came upon the good eggs that are Brett Johnson (Of previous Visionquest / Get Physical fame and one of the original US house producers on labels like Phil Week’s Robsoul and Derrick Carter’s Classic Music Company) and also Mykel Haze (Hot Creations / Noir Music) who happened to be launching his new Kosmic Disko alias at the time and offered to submit 2 remixes. Both are sublime and the first of which appears on this EP. File under alternative . . . . . .

rEJEKTS TO RELEAS ON WILDE RECORDINGS BERLIN

We are proud to have been included in the "Freiheit" (Freedom) compilation project by Wilde Recordings which to celebrates 25 years since the felling of the Berlin Wall. The previously unreleased rEVOLUTIONS track is a 9 minute chunk of warm melodic techno inspired by the outpour of emotions that such a momentous moment invokes (not the emotions portrayed by David Hassellhoff's performance on that said evening though, we're saving that for a future project).
rEJEKTS appear on the 12 track compilation alongside artists like Acid Wash, Dia, Lewis Boardman and Apty which has already picked up support from DJs like Sasha, Groove Armada, Style Of Eye and Kruder & Dorfmeisser.
